Bachelor's degree in an area related to autism such as applied behavior analysis, child development, psychology, or a related field

Certified, by an approved provider, in adult CPR with AED and infant-child CPR

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT CASE MANAGER

Bachelor's degree in an area related to autism such as applied behavior analysis, child development, psychology, or a related field

Certified, by an approved provider, in adult CPR with AED and infant-child CPR

Certified, by an approved provider, in basic first aid

Problem-solves and requests the input of the assigned CM as needed.

Provides ongoing resource assistance to consumers and their families.

Performs various clerical tasks as requested by the CM.

Identifies community resources and supports family in selecting resources in their community in a timely manner.

Coordinates the sharing of specific patient information with other provider members of the patient's plan of care.

Initiates and maintains documentation, including system documentation.

Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Job Requirements

Knowledge of basic mathematics skills.

Knowledge of basic interviewing skills.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency).

Three (3) years of experience with a social service agency or promoting a health program.

Community health and healthcare experience.
