Leadership and management of the Veteran Services Office and the Cpl. Robert Qutub Veterans Lounge

Minimum of five years experience working directly with military affiliated students in higher education or comparable non-profit organization.

Current or previous military, Veteran’s Affairs, or VA Certification experience.

Knowledge of VA certification processes and related federal regulations.

Knowledge of federal privacy laws that govern student educational records.

Provide non-medical, in-home care for clients with developmental disabilities.

Free CRP/1st Aid Training Certification

Experience in working with or volunteering with children, or adults.

Assist clients with personal care and daily living needs, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, diapering/toileting, or hygiene needs.

Engage clients in age and ability-appropriate activities.

Six (6) months of caregiving experience or educational experience (CNA, HHA, MA, etc.)

Ability to manage variable client schedules

Medical requirements including physicals and TB test may be required

Care and compassion for others

Special Needs: All, Adls, light Housekeeping, Exercise/ Small walk

Care Schedule: 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm

Special Needs: Toileting, Dressing & Grooming, Transferring & Mobility, Meal Prep, Bathing, Light housekeeping, and Exercise.

Care Schedule: Once every other week (Friday 12PM-4PM

Handle complex Veterans Benefits case management;

Possess excellent writing skills, communications skills, and ability to get along with co-workers and management.

Demonstrated experience exercising professional judgement and analytical abilities.

Manage, organize, and maintain documents in electronic filing systems;

Research, gather, analyze, and compile information and documents to assist in advising Veterans throughout the benefits administration process;

Exceptional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills when handling clients is essential.

Medical, Dental, Vision benefits available

CNA License or 75 Hour HHA Certification Required

Job Type: Full-time W-2 Position

Pay: $18/hr for our VA (Veteran) patients

PTO for our Full-time employees

TRAINING: No experience no problem! Virtual & in-person training available!
