Career Development Audio Arts Advisor Jobs

Ability to have both creative sensibilities and strong management/organizational skills.

Experience in talent acquisition and talent management processes and practices,

Career development curricula, webinars, tools, and resources (e.g., resume development, career assessment, interviewing skills, networking, personal brand, career conversations)

Proven experience with curriculum development and delivery methodologies and best practices.

Excellent communication and senior leader engagement experience.

Ability to prioritize initiatives based on the evolving talent/skill needs of the company, making consistently strategic recommendations to company leadership.

Coordinate logistics of CS career programs and off-campus events (including DC and Detroit career exploration trips, virtual career panels/sessions), event management/logistics

A Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Develop programs/initiatives specifically designed to support underrepresented student career experience and exploration

Facilitate/develop Career Development Workshops & Job Search Groups, assess students interests and professional skill development needs

Manage outreach, promotion of career services events for undergraduate public policy students

2+ years of professional experience in advising, career services, talent acquisition/recruiting or workforce development

Experience in culinary higher education

Create a multi-year development program including but not limited to: soft skills, career and professional development, internships and leadership development

Orchestrate life skill seminars and workshops for student including but not limited to financial literacy, resume writing, and interview preparation

3+ years of professional work experience in career development, post-secondary success counseling, or related fields

A strong knowledge of academic advising, student retention initiatives, and a track record of exceeding job expectations

Solid organizational abilities, including planning, program development, and task facilitation

Experience and/or knowledge of education, higher education, and college access and success ecosystem and working with first-generation college students preferred

Strong computer skills and knowledge of Salesforce and Asana is a plus

Experience planning and leading workshops and/or college-age student facing events

Ability to work independently and as part of a team; enjoy working remotely

What would your approach be to building relationships with new employers that might offer internships to first-year college students?

Assist SRA College & Career Advisors in their work with their students to provide career coaching and secure internships/employment opportunities by:

Reports directly to the Team Manager.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience preferred in Audio, Music Production, and/or the Music industry.

Working knowledge of the music industry and live event companies.

Working knowledge of computers and Internet researching.

Prior experience in the entertainment industry is required (3 years min preferred).
