Boys Sample Coordinator Jobs

Manage all seasonal sample requests, including internal and external showroom partners.

Assist PD with system data entry.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.

Experience in the fashion industry a plus, but not required.

Create and maintain a sample tracker for all samples.

Input and issue all SMS PO's to the appropriate vendors and follow-up for confirmation of completion date.

Thorough knowledge of silhouette, fit, fabrication, construction, color use, sewing techniques, and trim

Strong computer knowledge including Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel

Research global markets in order to identify new seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, techniques, product categories and competitive inspiration.

Develop concepts and sketches for product line and advocate for design ideas by presenting to internal leadership and cross functional partners.

Influence strategy for product area, providing recommendations regarding seasonal themes and edits to line, ensuring product meets business and customer needs.

Build cross functional partnerships and consensus, identifying sketch callouts and communicating desired fit and aesthetic to cross functional team.

Cleaning showrooms before and after management and account meetings

Laying out new development samples based on management’s direction

Working with the other sample coordinators to manage timelines for packing and shipping samples out for meetings and tradeshows.

Work directly with the Product Manager for a list of NA/SLS/INA/CAN/AKS samples and order accordingly.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a professional manner.

Ensure samples are received in a timely manner for each seasonal flow.

Keep samples organized and maintain records to track receiving information.

Communicate with Merchandising team to discuss arrivals and delays.

Build rapport with Brand MAs.

Support the entire team with other projects.

Knowledge of and experience with Browzwear 3D and Visulon Assortment programs a priority

Coordinate follow-up with internal and external customers and partners, including technical design, production, and vendors; manager interoffice communication

Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary

Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented

Extensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication, and trim; familiarity with print design and manufacturing

3-5 year's experience in apparel design

Experience with database management tools

Adheres to schedule requirements and reports issues as needed to manage partner expectations

Manage sample logistics and work with partners to effectively communicate product prioritization

Route and track samples according to order requirements and desired destinations

Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and English proficiency (verbal and written)

Prior experience in retail, sample coordination or managing stock inventory will be highly regarded

Organize and manage sample inventory

Strong verbal and written communication skills to maintain good working relations with own team and other departments.

Experienced with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. Airtable is a plus.

Time management skills to accomplish time sensitive tasks in a timely and accurate manner in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Enters incoming oil sample orders into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Other related duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager or technical team.

Work organization skills, which include prioritization, planning, maintaining accurate and well-organized records, attention to detail, and ability to multi task.

Proactive skills, which included being a self-starter, anticipation of needs, follow-up, and initiative.
