BS in statistics, mathematics, bioinformatics, genomics, computer science or related discipline with 4+ years’ relevant experience in bioinformatics or related field.

At least 2 years' experience working in a bioinformatics pipeline or algorithm development role.

Experience developing bioinformatics pipelines, including expertise with standard Next-generation sequencing analysis tools such as BWA, GATK, samtools, etc.

Works closely with the Principal Investigator to manage, analyze, and interpret data.

Biostatistics, Genetics, Computer Science, or a related field with no prior experience in bioinformatics analysis.

Demonstrated experience in utilizing high-performance clusters.

Experience with applying statistical methods.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams of clinicians and scientists.

Execute standardized and automated analysis pipelines.

·0-3 years of demonstrated experience in a computational biology capacity.

·Demonstrated programming experience in R, Python is required.

Bioinformatics Scientist / Computational Biology

Ph.D. with 2+ years or M.S. with 5+ years of experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics or related fields.

Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industries.

Strong experience in the use of a high-level programming language such as R and Python.

2 years of hands-on experience turning FASTQ files into counts tables using standard tools (e.g. STAR, kallisto, Seurat, scVI)

2 years of experience programming in Python

6 months of hands-on experience developing models for atypical counts data

6 months of experience building JavaScript applications to interact with analytical results

Strong experience in analyzing next-generation sequencing data, RNAseq, single-cell sequencing data, network analysis and/or statistical genetics.

Strong programming skills using R, Python, or C++.

6 months of hands-on experience building and maintaining annotated imaging dataset(s)

1 year of hands-on experience building & modifying PyTorch vision models

2 years of experience programming in Python

Maintains scientific knowledge base in immunology and bioinformatics topics by reading published literature, giving presentations, and attending relevant talks or conferences.

Experience Exception: Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant post-degree experience (OR) PhD with 2+ years of relevant post-degree experience.

Significant experience in at least one programming or scripting language and at least one statistical package, with R preferred.

Leads the development and establishment of standard analytical workflows for assigned projects.

Participates in collaborative research with interdepartmental investigators in basic and clinical research, particularly within the realms of cancer immunotherapy studies.

Formulates analytical plans that use the best approach to address challenging data analysis questions.

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related field.

Experience in relational database queries, development, and maintenance, such as SQL.

Skilled in Jupyter Notebooks, SQL, and Bash.

Experience with one or more general programming languages including but not limited to: Python, R, Perl, or Java.

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) and OMOP or HL-7 is a plus.

Experienced bioinformatician with a background in processing genomic data.

Work closely with Harvard faculty, postdocs, and students to advise on analysis of sequencing data and other biological ‘big data.’

Collaborate with scientists generating sequencing data at Harvard, to facilitate the dissemination of best practices to the research community.

Relevant experience in preclinical or clinical research.

Analyze sequencing data for detection of structural variants, such as genomic rearrangements or RNA splicing.

Develop/oversee clinico-genomic data analysis plans and manage relationships with clinical assay labs, genomic data vendors and academic research institutes

Experience using public data/annotations such as AACR GENIE, ClinVar, Exome Variant Server, 1000 Genomes, OncoKB, TCGA and COSMIC

Conduct multi-omic data analysis (RNA-seq, DNA-seq, cell-free, single-cell, proteomic, etc.) and integrate with other preclinical, clinical and real-world data sets

Keep well annotated analytical notebooks and code with appropriate version control

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory guidance for analysis and reporting of clinical biomarker data is desired

Educational preparation or applied experience in at least one of the following areas:

Experience in successful delivery of valuable analysis through application of domain knowledge;

Experience with Next Gen sequencing analysis and sequencing lab processes;

Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience, Masters degree with 2 years of experience, or PhD.

Independently perform bioinformatic analysis, computer programming, and experimental design;

Provide technical contributions in a fast paced team environment to accelerate our efforts on building an analytics driven product pipeline;
