Responsible for scanning documents for the Dental Program (Clinic and Community)

Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Three years of experience in translation and interpretation.

Experience working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic levels is desirable.

Extensive knowledge of legal, highly technical, and colloquial vocabulary in English and Spanish.

Strong computer and organizational skills.

Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.

Demonstrates ethical and professional conduct in all job duties performed and in the work environment.

Performs related work as assigned and adapts to changing work requirements.

Two (2) years’ experience in interpretive services, required.

Must pass the agency’s language certification exam.
