Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and one year experience in hospitality, hotel operations or customer service required.

Excellent verbal and written skills, listening skills and questioning techniques.

Ability to communicate in English with hotel guests, suppliers, and employees to their understanding.

Be the primary point of contact for clients, providing support via email, phone, or instant messaging platforms.

Conduct research on various destinations and curate customized travel packages based on client preferences.

Utilize reservation systems to book flights, accommodations, transportation services, and exciting activities.

Shares knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and/or education study trips

Makes appropriate recommendations to ensure the trip experience is more than expected and tailored to the members expectations

Cross sells relevant products to enhance the trip experience such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identify theft referrals

Minimum of 2 years sales experience required; Travel Industry and/or personal travel experience preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficient computer skills including the ability to multitask in several websites and programs

Knowledge of Geography and current world events

Self–motivated with strong time management

Personal travel experience a plus but not required

Ordering and stocking travel store supplies

Demonstrates proficient knowledge, skills and abilities utilizing industry and proprietary technology, including Smartpoint/Apollo.

Continuously strives to provide clients with a positive experience, utilizing analytical and strategic skills.

Communicates effectively and exhibits excellent customer service skills.

Understands the importance of quality and accountability with regards to revenue generating tasks and responsibilities.
