Experience: 2+ years experience in the travel industry

GDS experience a must, recent Worldspan experience is required. Other GDS systems experience will not be considered

Consultative: offers useful advice to proactively assist a customer, provides options

Provide travel expertise with excellent customer service

Responsible for timely and accurate ticketing and invoicing

Arrange travel for business and vacation customers

Determine customers’ needs and preferences, such as schedules and costs

Plan and arrange tour packages, excursions, and day trips

Find fare and schedule information

Book reservations for travel, hotels, rental cars, and special events, such as tours and excursions

Tell clients about what their trip will be like, including giving details on required documents, such as passports or visas

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Must be comfortable working in a remote setting

Training and certifications are provided

Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements

Provide recommendations on destinations, activities, and accommodations based on clients' preferences and budget
