Assists in the implementation of Quality Improvement/Quality Management (QI/QM) programs and the monitoring of compliance with required policies, procedures and standards.

Contributes to the success of the UTMB Correctional Managed Care operation.

Assists with training and education of mental health, medical and other staff.

Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.

Interviews, evaluates and diagnoses patients identified as having mental health needs.

Provides individual and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention.

On-going coordination & consultation with Case management to facilitate family engagement & participation

Actively utilize supervision to enhance clinical skills and job performance.

Actively pursue professional training needs by participating in educational activities which address specific clinical competencies.

Min of two (2) to three (3) years of experience (preferably clinical) with children and adolescents

Excellent computer experience in MS Office suite and other related programs.

Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist (LFMT).

Sitting for extended periods of time, viewing computer screen, traveling to presentations.

Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours/week).

Knowledge about social determinants of health, principles of diversity/equity/inclusion and culturally responsive practice with populations who have experience historical marginalization

Maintain licensure and job knowledge by attending workshops, trainings, and reviewing professional publications

Experience in sexual and reproductive health care preferred

Experience providing services via telehealth strongly preferred

Exhibits knowledge of legal/regulatory issues as it relates to social work

EXPERIENCE: Entry level (no prior related work experience)

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum two years of job-related experience)

Relevant experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness.

Ensures EMTALA compliance at all times and reports any concerns to the Intake Manager immediately.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of work practices.

Possess a thorough knowledge of current behavioral health concepts, principles and methods of treatment.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Previous hospital based psychiatric experience preferred.

Working knowledge of DSM 5 required.

Screens and assesses the clinical needs of patients through accepted standards of interviewing.

Completes mental status evaluations and risk assessments on referred patients.

Master’s degree from accredited school of Social Work or Master’s degree in related behavioral health field required.

Current Maryland licensure at an advanced licensure level (e.g. LCSW-C, LCPC and/or Board Certified Psychologist) required.

These positions are located in Somerset County, NJ.
