- These positions are located in Somerset County, NJ.
- All applicants will be required to upload a recent copy of their licensure/certification.
- Provisionally licensed Mental Health Clinician III’s practice under the supervision of independently licensed Mental Health Clinician II’s or Psychologists. As a potential professional enhancement, the supervised work experience may contribute to the hour requirement for a LPC, LCSW, or other independent licensure if eligible.
- Provides outreach services as assigned by Program Coordinator.
- Assumes overall follow-up responsibilities for assigned consumers including coordination of treatment and liaison with community agencies.
- In collaboration with supervisor and other clinical staff, identifies appropriate resources for consumers and families/support system based on assessed needs.
- Provide initial assessments of individuals who are referred to the EISS program.
- Involves the consumer and that consumer’s family or other support system in developing achievable, understandable, and person-centered treatment plans.
- Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the State Board of Social Work.
- Master’s degree in a mental health discipline.
- License to practice as required by New Jersey state laws governing the discipline.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work with a treatment team.
- Experience with DSM -IV-TR and appropriate diagnostic skills.
- CADC / LCADC
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Post graduate experience working with adults in a crisis setting.
- Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
- Handles emergency or crisis situations.
- May be exposed to clients exhibiting assaultive or aggressive behaviors.
- Varied work settings include office and community setting.
- This is a grant-funded position.
- Must be available for on-call.
