This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical and electrical components. They must be able to identify and diagnose problems and determine the best course of action to take in order to repair the equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics in order to properly diagnose and repair equipment. Job Skill Requirements Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. They must also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. Job Qualifications Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also have experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
