Overview Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems. They are responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that any necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner. Detailed Job Description Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems. This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical and electrical components. They must be able to identify and diagnose problems and determine the best course of action to take in order to repair the equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics in order to properly diagnose and repair equipment. Job Skill Requirements Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. They must also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. Job Qualifications Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also have experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. Job Knowledge Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. They must also have a working knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Job Experience Auxiliary Maintenance Technicians must have at least two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
