Providing safe, timely, and correct parts deliveries to our customers

Coordinating pickup and delivery needs with the Parts Manager, parts counter staff or inventory control clerks.

Loading trucks, accounting for all paperwork, undelivered parts and returns.

Maintaining the basic upkeep and cleanliness of the truck.

Able to safely drive vehicles with automatic transmission.

Intermediate knowledge of Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

CDK knowledge preferred, but not necessary

As a Parts Driver you will be responsible for delivering and picking up parts, equipment and other dealership necessities.

Maintain a detailed delivery log, handle cash and record invoices.

Completing all invoices, shipping documents, and payments after completing the delivery.

High School Diploma or GED: one to three months of related experience a plus

Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.

Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.

Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.

Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient\'s signature on each delivery entry.

What are the requirements for this job?

Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts

Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective suits, dusts masks and respirators.

Drive and operate the company and trailer

Load and unload parts onto the company truck and trailer

Lift 50lbs at a time

Obey traffic laws and follow procedures

Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Previous driving, delivery, or warehouse experience desired.

Basic computer skills needed to utilize the company timekeeping system.

1 to 2 years of prior experience in parts or in a driving/delivery position preferred

Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in English with strong communication skills

Three months’ experience customer and delivery services.

Pick up and delivers parts to customer, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.

Check before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.

Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
