What you will do - Essential responsibilities

Log and track deliveries and vehicle inventory

Move cars around the site so they are available for customers to view

Manager and are not intended to be the only responsibilities to be performed. Other items can be

added at managements discretion at anytime.

Remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer.

Previous experience working as a detailer is required.

Work experience in a dealership preferred

Must have experience using a high speed buffing wheel

Experience: 5+ years in automobile sales, with at least two years in a management position.

Inventory Management: Manage vehicle inventory and ensure proper merchandise presentation.

Open door and open-book management

Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) and related systems throughout the department

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills. Proficiency in CRM software.

Paid training and certification classes

Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Reports any damages immediately to management.

Works with the dispatcher to ensure that all scheduled detail and safe shields deliveries are completed as promised.

Lead and directs a team of detailers with enthusiasm

Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.

Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.

Prior detailing experience may be preferred.

Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.

Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.

Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.

Vacuum interior to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner; pump bilge.

Using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices treats areas to remove dust, dirt, grease, and grime.

Understanding of various cleaning agents for use on specific boat parts.

Perform fall inventory and clean boats prior to winter storage.

Installs and dismantles Bimini, dodger, cushions, curtains

Set up boat for summer delivery and packs for winter storage.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Have good knowledge of engineering basics regarding repetitive customer orders in configurator.

Have adequate product and systems knowledge to be able to answer questions by the CRS group.

Must be able to interpret door specifications sent in be customer.

Enter detailed and non-detailed door orders into the configurator.

Needs to be able to read and analyze CAD drawings from both internally and externally.

Experience with detailing utilizing CAD platforms (2D or 3D), AutoCad, ASA MicroStation, Revkit, Tekla a plus

Ability to read and interpret contract drawings/blueprints with strong mathematical skills (algebra, geometry, linear measurements, etc.)

We ask that you have the following qualifications:

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends

Inspect unassigned or otherwise available trucks. Remove all trash and articles that are not company issue.

Finish cleaning all upholstery, weather seals, weather-stripping and glass.

Apply protectant to leatherette, vinyl, rubber, and plastic and wipe off excess.

Clean door threshold and jamb area.

Inspect tarp system condition, report, and replace missing struts or spacers. Straighten bent components. Make sure sheet is rolled up straight.

Check tailgate latches for adjustment. Report any deficiencies to the Foreman.

Prior detailer or car wash experience required

Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Previous detailing experience is desired. Ability to operate equipment to perform detailing functions.

Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.

5+ years experience refinishing cars in an automotive collision repair environment utilizing urethane based refinish systems.

Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record with at least 2 years of driving experience and insurable, preferred.

Experience with operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment.

Willingness to work overtime if required.

High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair preferred.

Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures.

3 to 5 years previous automotive detail experience
