Lead Detailer Jobs

SUMMARY

You will be responsible to coordinate and participate with the dispatcher in all details and safe shield deliveries that needs to be completed throughout the day. Refurbishes automobiles exterior and interior according to the dealership’s and specifications and time allowances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Replaces missing or defective small parts.
• Works with the dispatcher to ensure that all scheduled detail and safe shields deliveries are completed as promised.
• Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Performs vehicle tinting as needed
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Reports any damages immediately to management.
• Lead and directs a team of detailers with enthusiasm
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and body paint quality.
• Reports to work on time every day as scheduled.

MARGINAL DUTIES include the following.

Perform Service Drive duties during morning hours. Duties include Inspector, Porter, Greater, Shuttle Driver and Sweeper.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid Guam driver’s license.
