Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Partnership Building: Coordinate with the marketing team to create effective advertising strategies.
  • Inventory Management: Manage vehicle inventory and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing sales team to exceed guest expectations and sales goals.
  • Customer Relationship: Foster strong guest relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze sales performance against business goals to identify improvement areas.
  • Training & Development: Provide coaching and training to the sales team on effective sales techniques and industry trends.


Qualifications


  • Experience: 5+ years in automobile sales, with at least two years in a management position.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills. Proficiency in CRM software.

Responsibilities


  • Take ownership of all aspects of the guest's experience, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Know and understand the variables that will affect the business plan, including supply, demand, profit, competition, promotion, pricing, manufacturing issues, insurance rates, and finance rates
  • Oversee sales department operations
  • Constantly monitor the dealership’s performance, revising the plan when appropriate, as well as finding areas that may offer opportunities for increases in efficiency, sales, profit, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) and related systems throughout the department
  • Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and support the sales team as a servant leader and mentor
  • Study local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history; make recommendations regarding short- and long-range advertising plans, inventory stocking, and staffing needs
