Summary:

Growing Franshise Auto Dealership is seeking a Automotive Detailer. Top candidate will have

outstanding attention to detail, a high level of pride in their work, and outstanding efficiency

in performing their task. They will also possess the experience of working with clear coat

repair, cleaning chemicals, buffing & polishing chemicals. A positive attitude is essential to

working in this environment. Great pay plan and benefits including health insurance, 401K

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All listed are to be done in accordance to conduct outlined in Buick GMC & Ford Autoworlds

employee handbook. These duties and responsibilities are to be performed for the Service

Manager and are not intended to be the only responsibilities to be performed. Other items can be

added at managements discretion at anytime.

• Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine
• Wash vehicle exterior
• Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicles, using touch-up paint.
• Clean engine and engine compartment
• Vacuum interior, clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
• Remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer.
• Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles to restore color and condition.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Job Requirements

• Must have experience using a high speed buffing wheel
• Must be willing to submit and successfully complete a background check and drug screen
• Work experience in a dealership preferred
• Must have a valid in state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience working as a detailer is required.
• Must be team oriented, motivated, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer
