Assistant Principal Of Teaching And Learning Jobs

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Prior classroom/teaching experience and/or experience facilitating online learning (i.e., meetings, professional development, classes) preferred, but not required.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Must be in good academic standing and maintain satisfactory academic progress toward degree completion throughout the duration of the teaching assistantship.

Must not be a registered student in the course for which the teaching assistant is providing support.

A quick learner with a positive attitude amid significant change.

Strong organizational and project management skills

Provide leadership and effective management in the collaborative organizational design and creating of a Center for Teaching & Learning.

Minimum 5 years direct teaching experience in secondary or [AM1] post-secondary education

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a post-secondary education environment that prioritizes teaching over research.

Collegial management and leadership, particularly in a fast-paced environment

Advanced degree (indicate specific field, if required): Master’s degree in Education, educational psychology, cognitive psychology, education, instructional design/technology, or related field.

Coordinate with Education Minor Steering Committee and Dave Archer to support Education Minor students interested in education master's degree programs

Master's degree in student affairs administration, education, public administration, or closely related field

Experience working with diverse populations

Experience related to the position, such as recruiting and communications & marketing, is strongly preferred

Experience in SLATE and BANNER

Refine and implement annual recruitment plan, with measurable outcomes
