Assistant Divisional Controller Jobs in Illinois

Proficiency in cloud-based software applications for financial, inventory and order management. QuickBooks Online experience is preferred.

Accounts Receivable; customer invoicing, payment processing, statements, chargeback management and collections.

Utilize cloud-based ERP software (Brightpearl) for customer order and inventory management.

Inventory management and clearing accounts from assets through cost of goods sold

Previous experience in tax compliance, including knowledge of nexus or economic nexus in different states.

Experience with inventory life cycle - P.Os, receiving inventory, entering vendor invoice against inventory, landed cost, freight, partial orders, etc.

Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills

Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 3 years Strong knowledge of GAAP Strong knowledge of cash flows, financial reports, and annual reports

Assist the Controller in meeting all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements of internal and external users

Works with department managers to ensure consistent application of general ledger accounting and cost coding

Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent

Must possess a strategic and operational mindset, including time, resource allocation and management.

Works well within a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to have an impact in a short space of time.

Self-starter who functions well, whether independently or within a team.

Able to synthesize national strategies into divisionally-appropriate and efficient operating mechanisms, with an execution and continuous improvement mindset

Must be willing to travel up to 30%

A highly skilled manager with well-rounded experience and lean knowledge in manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience in the manufacturing process as a Plant Manager or above level with management responsibility is required.

Provide leadership, direction and management over manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, marketing, and sales for a plant.

Additional duties as assigned by management

Working knowledge of industry quality standards ISO 9001 and AS9100

Experience in the manufacturing environment of aerospace interconnection assemblies, high technology products and/or of electrical/electronic-manufacturing is highly desirable.
