Requirements For An Assistant Accountant - Controller

A retirement plan with a 3% match

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field

2-3 years in accounting position preferred; office environment experience preferred

Good computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel

Lead financial close including calculating and posting daily, weekly, and monthly transactions

Complete monthly GM financial statement according to manufacturer guidelines

Review financial accounts and schedules; review income statements & balance sheets

Post vehicle deal accounting and calculate related commissions; work with sales reps, as needed

Knowledge of US tax requirements is an asset.

Knowledge of ICFR and SOX requirement is an asset.

Assists Corporate Controller with full cycle accounting responsibilities and preparation of financial statements.

Implements and manages internal control related to manufacturing facility.

Assists in annual filing of 1099, 1042, EDGE/HBI credit, and other government filing requirements.

5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, GMP facilities and pharmaceutical environment
