Assistant Cultural Resource Specialist Jobs

Basic project management skills relating to development of programs, events, or projects.

Experience in health education activities for Medi-Cal or other state-sponsored programs (WIC, CalFresh, et al).

Basic knowledge of federal and state laws, standards and regulations, including Medi-Cal and/or Medicare and HIPAA, in managed care organizations.

· Represents and articulates service area needs to C&L management

100% Remote (PST working hours)

Healthcare or health plan experience

Three years of full-time experience in cultural resource management

Knowledge of and experience working with Section 4f compliance

Ability to work with all levels of management and staff

Strong written/oral communication skills and ability to understand complex issues

Experience working with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA)

Experience working with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Section 4f compliance

Work with archaeological team to monitor for cultural resources during Sentinel Project construction activities

Act as cultural liaison between archaeological staff and your Tribe, which is a consulting party on the Sentinel Project

Maintain a record of detailed notes regarding cultural resource observations throughout field activities

Produce daily and weekly reports of field activities, as needed

Travel to and from various Sentinel project locations, as needed

Other duties may be assigned.

In-depth knowledge of cultural resource requirements.

Work with clients to meet Section 106 compliance requirements.

Prior experience writing NEPA cultural resource sections highly desired.

Prior experience conducting document reviews and writing technical documents.

Direct experience with DoD cultural resource regulations and projects; Air Force is highly desired.

Direct experience with DoD Section 106 compliance; previous work with SHPOs in CO, NE, ND, MT, UT, and WY highly desired.

· Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

· CPA certification strongly desired but not required.

Must have experience working in a NON-PROFIT organization.

3 days in office required (NYC)

· Financial Statement preparation and all supporting schedules

· Perform detailed analytics related to variances that are included in the Board package

Responsible for being in good standing by maintaining consistence attendance Monday through Friday as scheduled and needed to complete projects

Learns and practices safety procedures, in order to use carving tools and other fabrication tools in safe and proper manner.

Gathers cultural arts materials for use in cultural project activities.

Attends required staff meetings and other activities deemed necessary, based on the needs of the assigned location and culture team.

Writes and speaks in clear, concise grammar and pronunciation in the Target Language and English.

Demonstrates in depth familiarity with the culture, economics, history, and societal/ethnic/tribal aspects of the host country.

Conducts consecutive, accurate translations and summarizations of material.

Provides idiomatic translations of non-technical material using correct syntax and expression to and from the target language and English.

Reads and translates handwritten material.

Scans and processes material, utilizing the target language for critical and essential elements of information.
