Assistant Community Office Manager Jobs in Florida

Responsible for assisting Office Manager with personnel, clerical, housekeeping, and maintenance functions at a specific office location(s).

Considered to be a “working assistant manager” will be a back up for front office staff.

Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.

Great attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

Support the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including staffing and purchasing

High school diploma or GED is required.

· Previous property management experience is required, fee management preferred

Previous property management industry experience

Basic computer technology skills and basic knowledge of MS Office Suite

Secures and manages lease renewals and prepares new lease paperwork for final approval.

Develops and maintains knowledge of the property and competitors in the area.

Oversees property operations and staff in Community Manager’s absence.

Assist with leasing job duties, including touring prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements, as directed to meet business need.

Two plus years of apartment leasing experience required; assistant manager experience desired

Manage accounting and financial matters, e.g., collecting rent, posting payments, processing final account statements, updating monthly financial statements, and managing delinquencies

Experience with Fair Housing Regulations and experience managing delinquencies
