Collect and analyze data for each child's performance - graphs must be updated at least weekly.

In this role, you will report to the Zoological Manager of Behavioral Husbandry.

As the Behavior Analyst, in partnership with the Behavioral Husbandry Zoological Managers, you will:

Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or related field required.

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience working with children age 2 to 22 years in school settings.

Completes data review, documentation and reports of functional behavior assessments and BIPs, organize the schedule for BIP reviews at designated intervals.

Participates in parent and team meetings to communicate assessment results and intervention plans.

Obtains parent consent and signatures.

Completes the setup and monitoring of data management systems

Knows, understands, and complies with safety management procedures

Knows, understands, and complies with all relevant individual behavior management programs in operation

Conducts formal behavior analytic assessments including functional assessments, skill-based assessments, and ecological assessments.

When relevant for RBT registration, BCBA certification, or supervision thereof, complies with all regulations and guidelines of the BACB

Provides training and feedback regarding instructional and behavioral skills

Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving

Student Analyst Mentoring Program and FREE BCBA/BCaBA supervision (for those continuing their ABA education!)

Our BCaBA’s are able to perform the following job duties under the direct supervision of a BCBA:

Developing and monitoring each client’s comprehensive treatment program

Overseeing initial/ongoing staff training and supervision

Providing parent coaching and training

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Implement and coach school personnel on research-based methods of classroom management and behavioral strategies;

Complete all reporting requirements as mandated by the district, state, federal, and educational agencies (i.e. restraint and seclusion, assessments, behavioral data);

Provide social skills instruction to students utilizing research-based methodologies and approved district curricula.

Participate in the development of Individualized Educational Programs for students;

Strong teamwork, communication and report writing skills.

Facilitate and coach teams through the development and implementation of functional behavior assessments/behavior interventions, plans and crisis plans for identified students;
