Airport Electrician Jobs

Full-time hourly position with full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Sick, Vacation)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist with driver and client connection.

Adheres to customer service procedures.

Documents and reports lost and found materials.

Has experience working on PT6A and/or CE-208

Has experience working on BE-1900 (PT6, C-208 or BE1900)

Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exhibiting knowledge of and working in accordance with the GOM, GMM and AAIP

A minimum of 3 years of experience

has experience working on PT6A and/or CE-208

Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements

We are looking for candidates with some or all the following skills and experience:

Assist in the maintenance and repair work in a variety of skilled trades areas

Customer Service and Communication skills, both written and oral

Basic computer navigation skills in a Microsoft Windows environment

Experience working on fire alarm systems preferred

The Supply Chain Management Airport Superintendent duties will include but are not limited to:

Manages the scheduling and coordination of operations; maintains expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget limitations.

Supervises, through subordinate personnel, all activities in the unit in order to assure the safety and efficiency of airport functions.

Plans, executes, and monitors work assignments consistent with prescribed policies, rules, and regulations.

Trains and tests subordinate personnel; interprets instructions and specifications; provides guidance, reviews and evaluates the work of section personnel.

Prepares annual budget request for the branch; monitors expenditures to ensure compliance within approved budget limitations.

Assist other Finance and Accounting staff members and management as needed.

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field.

2 years of varying experience in AP, AR, PR, and GL including reconciliation processes.

Experience in government accounting preferred but not required.

High-level working knowledge of computerized accounting systems including functions necessary to properly record AP, AR, PR, and GL activity.

Have good customer service skills

Be 25 years of age or older

Have a clean driving record

Pass a criminal background check

Be motivated to make money

Performs other job duties as assigned.

Basic knowledge of electrical motors, wiring, pumps and lighting Systems, electrical law and theories.

Satisfaction of all the minimum qualifications for Maintenance Electrician I.

Knowledge of electrical motors, wiring, pumps and lighting systems.

Knowledge of building and electrical codes.

Knowledge of building codes, electrical codes and electrical theory.
