Agricultural Formulation Chemist Jobs

Experience within chemistry, i.e. formulation, paints, raw material testing etc.

Knowledge of Polymers or PCR

Practical testing experience in laboratory environment

Development & optimization of paint, plural components & thermoplastic materials

Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process materials & formulations

Maintain laboratory in compliance with regulatory standards & site procedures

Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Required

Participate in key improvement opportunities and implementation of selected new ideas (including deviation and change control management)

In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope Knowledge and Skills.

Require knowledge of the current GMPs and USDA requirements

Ensure adherence to production schedule and complete associated documentation in compliance with regulatory requirement

Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills

Effective project management via use of the Product Development Process.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Creative thinking and planning Ability to identify additive approaches / formulations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities Technical lead and / or project lead for customer specific and OEM Original Equipment Manufacturers based formulations globally as directed.

Experience directly related to applicable product or product category ATF and electrified powertrain fluid formulations

Formulation experience is strongly desired Statistical background and use of DOE design of experiments

Visit customers / OEMs as needed Performs formulation and testing activities to meet established project objectives.

4. Experience in using ERP / warehouse management systems in a manufacturing environment.

1. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or equivalent experience.

2. 3+ years’ work experience in medical devices, consumer products, or the cosmetics industry.

3. Formulation experience in manufacturing in a GMP work environment.

Expertise regarding handling and mixing of chemicals through education and/or experience preferred

Strong attention to detail, math skills, and knowledge of the metric system

Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required

High interpersonal skills: conflict management, influencing, collaborative work experience within R&D is preferred.

Experience in single source nutrition and/or complete and balanced foods is preferred.

Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent with 3-7 years of relevant industrial experience in formulation development.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant industrial experience in formulation development.
