Partner with Story Department Manager to supervise the Story Department by overseeing the following:

Developing the artists through guidance, mentorship, and skills training

Partner with Story Department Manager, Showrunners, and Producer to achieve the artistic and production objectives of the show

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Story Artist

Control storyboard review according to the Director's requirements so as to meet the quality and grade requirements of the finished film.

Experience working as the Head of Story at an established animation studio.

Under the Director's vision, create two-dimensional storyboards and reasonably split the plot of the story.

Provide the Concept Designer with early composition references and layout arrangements through storyboard sketches.

Provide animators with initial rhythm references through dynamic storyboards and provide references for narrative and shot language.

Collaborate with other departments, maintain good communication within the team, and complete tasks efficiently so that the project stays on schedule.

Elicit business requirements from business owners and subject matter experts

3+ years Agile development experience

Excellent leadership, oral and written communication skills

Agile BA, Scrum Master, PMP or similar certification a plus

Define the behavior of the system with significant detail, exposing complicated business rules

Specify the system using examples and scenarios to ensure the development team clearly understands the scope of work to be done

5-6 years relevant experience as part of a creative team

Inspire and organize a team around cultural and consumer insights that will lead to bigger and better thinking

Bring fresh thinking and a collaborative spirit to the team when developing work

Help to nurture a team of junior creative and strategic minds

Always be searching for consumer insights, new platforms and cultural trends

Multitask and prioritize workload with quick turnarounds

Manage a team of creative strategists, copywriters, and world builders

10-12 years relevant experience as part of a creative team

Have experience working at creative communication agencies

Oversee creative ideation and lead brainstorm sessions

Deeply grounded in culture and focus on connecting to the things people care about.

Attend client meetings and act a creative leader for Day One

A serious interest in, or some experience in casting, whether it is unscripted/reality or narrative.

Some experience, even at student level, in any unscripted format show, especially in competition shows of any kind.

Basic skills with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Photoshop. Understanding of file transfer services.

Good handwriting and good typing/keyboarding skills - you will often have to take notes very quickly.

Basic skills in various social media and intermediate skills in Instagram.
