Support program design, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation across these priorities.

Support GNHCC’s convening of the Newark Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Impact Team, a cross-sector collaborative, and affiliated workgroups.

Inform GNHCC’s strategies related to advancing positive childhood experiences and mitigating adverse childhood experiences.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.

Three to five years relevant professional experience

Certification as a Certified Health Educator (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. preferred

5.Assists in the development of operational plans and policies necessary to achieve health education objectives and services.

7.Participates in the design and conduct of evaluations and diagnostic studies to assess the quality and performance of health education programs.

Entry experience but 1+ years preferred

* Phlebotomy experience preferred depending on the department

Health Education Associate-Adolescent Health- MSH- Days-FT

Professional education and training experience in child and adolescent preventive care.

Knowledge of and/or experience in public health programs, practice, and policies.

Technical assistance to other MN Department of Health and state programs (e.g. Departments of Education and Human Services).

Public Health Nurse (PHN) Certification

5 years of nursing, nursing consultant, or nursing instructor experience in pediatric and/or adolescent clinical health.

Minimum Education, Training & Experience & Special Requirements

Use a computer for the purposes of data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing

Coordinates/oversees and completes the Maternal Child and Adolescent Health grant activities as directed by the Clinical Service Manager.

Serves as the Signify point of contact and is responsible for assuring client record completeness and IDPH documentation requirements.

Informs newly eligible Medicaid/uninsured/underinsured children of the well-child benefit and services on a monthly basis.

Assists Clinical Services Manager with creating and revising program policies and procedures.

Salary Scale: £85-£90 per day

Start Date: 5th June 2023

End Date: 21st July 2023, with potential for continuation from September 2023

Floor Management - Eyes on the clients at all times

Bachelors Degree in a Behavioral Health Science OR Equivalent work / volunteer experience

Previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders is required

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience
