Detailed Job Description The Accounting Office Specialist II is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the accounting department. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting office, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other related tasks. The Accounting Office Specialist II is also responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and providing customer service to internal and external customers. Job Skills Required• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least two years of experience in accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems
• Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations
• Knowledge of financial reporting
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in accounting or related field
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Experience in payroll processing
• Experience in financial reporting
