Overview The Accounting and Finance Coordinator is responsible for providing financial and accounting support to the organization. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and providing financial analysis. The Accounting and Finance Coordinator must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Detailed Job DescriptionThe Accounting and Finance Coordinator is responsible for the following:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare and file taxes
• Monitor cash flow
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Provide financial analysis
• Develop and maintain financial systems
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Assist with audits
• Develop and maintain financial models
• Assist with financial planning
Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and finance
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of financial systems and procedures
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Knowledge of auditing and taxation
