Frequent and extensive travel over a large geographic region will be required.

Great teamwork and leadership skills

Building financial, economic, statistical, and operational models using a variety of tools

Creating innovative data-based solutions to client needs using a variety of software programs

Analyzing electricity, natural gas, and other energy markets

Developing, maintaining, and running power system models, including capacity expansion and security-constrained production cost models

Providing in-depth regulatory research and summarizing insights through literature review

Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role). Housing and transportation are provided where applicable.

Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python.

Work with large, real-world datasets using intuition, statistics, and machine learning methodologies.

Collect, clean, and analyze unconventional datasets.

Collaborate with world-class data scientists on research projects that have meaningful company impact

Present research to a large group of researchers.

Developing existing reporting capabilities from a software standpoint and a usability perspective and investigate new technologies.

Assisting with opportunity technical qualification including Preliminary Audits, Benchmarking, Site Surveys, and Interviews.

As an Energy Engineer Intern, you may experience and assist in:

Providing technical analysis/review for energy projects; providing project risk assessment.

Performing building “walk-throughs” and identifying energy conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Prescribing best methods for measurement and verification of system performance during the acquisition phase.
