Yard Hostler/Outbound Loader

Operating Yard Hostler to move trailers in and out of doors and staging areas. Move pallets of product from dock/staging area onto trucks and/or containers.

Range of Pay:

• 90 day introduction period step increase
• $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
• Yearly annual increases every January

• Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Wrapping pallets
• Load diagrams and check off sheets
• Stacking of product
• Work closely with Dispatch, Selection Supervisors and Leads.
• Other duties as assigned
• Interface with shipping.
• Move trailers in and out of doors and staging areas as needed.
• Responsible for the housekeeping/sanitation of working areas inside and outside of the doors.
• Interface with drivers.
• Load trucks and containers with pallets of product, using a forklift or pallet jack while ensuring integrity of load.

Job Requirements:

Experience: CDL – Class A required.

Education: High School diploma.

Knowledge: Good reading, writing, math and computer skills.

Skills and Abilities: Must have good motor skills and cognitive ability.
