- The hourly rate for this position is $21.66 with off-shift, overtime and weekend work available
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows proper job procedure for water the roads.
- Support Evraz RMS Pueblo, Co #67 plant protocol and activities
- Participates in day to day environmental and safety programs at the Harsco operation.
- Required to follow plant safety, operational assistance, production quality and environmental assurance guidelines.
- Follows the following work activity guideline for a Truck Driver
- Has a working knowledge of HAZCOM , SPCC, Community Right-To-Know, OSHA Regulations and 40 CFR Environmental Regulations.
- Performs routine mobile equipment pre start and post inspections and records on mobile equipment inspection sheet.
- Responsible for the day to day Truck Driving Activities at the RMS Pueblo, Co #67 plant.
- Conducts oneself in accordance with safety, environmental, employment and operational guidelines.
- Follows proper procedures for material, slag handling and hauling.
- Performs transport of slag and scrap within the plant site.
- Performs daily work projects and assignments.
- Performs routine slag and material handling / hauling; road watering and mill contract activities at the plant site.
- Off-shift, overtime and weekend work available
- Records tasks in daily work data sheets.
- Participates in safety and environmental meetings.
- Provide input and participate in daily operational activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and safety awareness to work with and around heavy equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- CDL license is not required; however a valid Class D driver’s license IS required
