Job Description

Overview of the Role:

Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive with proven sales experience and a passion for selling technology solutions.

You will play a critical and active role in growing the company, responsible for sourcing and nurturing new leads through participation in trade shows, events, panels, and other networking opportunities.


As part of the team, you will:

  • Present the company’s unique value proposition tailored to the needs of potential clients’ senior executives
  • Represent and evangelize the company’s unique capabilities to deliver complex, leading-edge, custom software solutions through participation at national and local events, industry tradeshows, panels, and other places where you can meet potential clients
  • Plan, implement and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets and business goals
  • Originate and nurture business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities.
  • Understand and assist in managing and mitigating key risks through tactical plans and actions
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients, with a remit across industries and a primary focus on a specific metro area
  • Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that best satisfy clients’ needs and achieve their desired business outcomes



Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role:


  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations tailored to the perceived needs of our prospects
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets (min. $500k ARR) and client retention
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Experience selling nearshore IT professional services and/or services delivered from Latin America is a plus, but not a requirement
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a sales/client solutions agent
  • Advanced English (spoken and written)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
