Location: NYC 5^th Ave and 40^th or so- Hybrid, 3 days a week on site NYC, you will be in the office 8-10 hours a day

Responsibility Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven Windows System Administrator with experience in

the FinTech domain, who is ready to jump into a fast-growing FinTech startup. At 24X you will

collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and work on revolutionary exchange products. As a

Windows System Administrator you will be an integral part of the team and will have the opportunity to

work with a highly collaborative technology team to implement cutting edge solutions that usher us into

the next phase of growth and information security.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install and configure windows software and hardware, upgrade systems with new releases

• Set up accounts and workstations, manage user accounts and access

• Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users

• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

• Investigate and help respond to security incidents

• Design and implement Mobile Device Management solutions and policies

• Assess the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems

• Monitor, maintain, and tune the performance of existing systems and security platforms

• Troubleshoot issues, outages, system errors – perform incident triage, documentation and

escalation of appropriate incidents, alerts and investigations

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and build security into the infrastructure and

software development platform

• Create, draft and/or adapt technical documentation, security policies, manuals and guidelines

• Participate in penetration testing and remediation of enterprise and trading systems

• Work with internal and external teams to perform and document IT/security audits

• Assess, prototype and recommend potential solutions to meet and improve the firm’s IT and

security posture -- considering best practices, emerging technologies, feasibility and risk

• Develop a mindset for continuous development, implementation and monitoring of a strategic,

comprehensive enterprise wide cyber, information security and risk management program

• Develop metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of security operations functions

• Participate in the development of employee security awareness training

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of prior experience as a Windows System Administrator

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline

• Degree in Cyber/Information Security strongly preferred

• Professional certification (eg. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) is a plus

• Hands-on experience with implementation of Active Directory, Azure products, Mobile Device

Management, Microsoft Exchange

• Prior experience with Workstation Management

• Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup

• Experience with implementing information security policies and procedures

• Exposure to financial services and/or markets highly desirable

• Motivated to learn new technologies and come up with process improvements and efficiencies

• Desire to learn and grow within the field on information and cyber security

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think outside the box

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience with automation and scripting is a plus

• Experience with Linux Administration is a plus

• Financial Knowledge of different asset classes: Equities, Crypto, FX is a plus
