The Fairbanks Area office provides wildland fire protection on 8.5 million acres in interior Alaska. The incumbent will be a Lead Crewmember on the White Mountain Type II Initial Attack fire crew. Under supervision from crew overhead, lead crewmembers will direct the actions of others during fire suppression, training, and fuel mitigation.
