Position Summary:

The Web Designer is responsible for the general maintenance, usability, and improvement of the Reyes Design Studio platform as well ask and outward facing communications about Reyes Design Studio.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Regular communication with Web to Print vendors
• Coordinate and maintain image run time schedules
• Coding for multiple website portals and code debugging
• Report out system metrics at regularly determined intervals
• UI Workflow testing and enhancement
• Design, develop, and support of the front-end solutions for Reyes Design Studio
• Troubleshooting and resolving system errors
• Ensuring cross-platform compatibility
• Other projects or duties as assigned
• Collaborate with Web to Print Administrators and Creative department leaders

Required Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with building intuitive front-end applications
• Experience with HTML/CSS development
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
• Ability to translate user requirements into code
• At least 3+ years of experience in web design and development or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in web design, computer science, or related field
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of troubleshooting code and application
• Experience developing web apps is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with PCs and MACs, file hierarchy, naming conventions, file types/formats and conversion factors (faster to vector, bitmap to GIF, TIF, PNG, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SEO principles to ensure that the application follows them
