Web Designer Jobs

We are looking for an outstanding Professional Web Designer and Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our customer's websites. The web designer's responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion, designing everything from the website graphics to the coding and eCommerce stores. We build the majority of our websites in HTML/PHP or WordPress/Woocommerce, but we also occasionally work with Shopify.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain software documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our customer's websites
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS, WordPress/Woocommerce CMS practices
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Skills

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with the following programming languages: PHP and Javascript
• Proven working experience in website design and development
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• BS in computer science or a related field

Additional Job Requirements

• Able to pass a background check
• Note, this job requires candidate to work in our Longview office every day, no remote applicants please.
• Punctual, office hours are 8:30 till 5:30 with an hour for lunch
• Able to pass a drug test
• No felonies and no theft charges

Salary: Base salary plus commission, easily earn $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Our existing customer base of 1,400+ clients and our marketing efforts provide the majority

Salary: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year depending on expertise, experience, and availability.
