Experience with planning, permitting, design and construction of municipal water and wastewater pipelines and treatment plants is a plus. Candidates should be able to create design drawings in AutoCAD, Civil 3D. Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD is a plus. Responsibilities - Water/Wastewater Design Engineer :

• Conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
• Construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates
• Produce plans and specifications
• Lead regulatory permitting effort
• General civil engineering design.
• Project coordination with the Owner and other disciplines necessary to produce the project
• Engineering design and/or project management for a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems involving treatment, water reclamation, pump stations, sewer rehabilitation, water mains, storage tanks, and related civil work.
• Prepare engineering calculations
• Detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
• Assist with resolution of construction issues and conduct site observations
• Design of the water / wastewater facility
• Planning, evaluation and selection of wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities or planning, evaluation, and selection of municipal drinking water systems.

Qualifications - Water/Wastewater Design Engineer:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required
• EIT with ability to obtain PE license within 24 months
• Ability to create design drawings in AutoCAD, Civil 3D
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD
• 4 years of related water/wastewater engineer design experience with water distribution systems, wastewater collection, pump station and force mains
• Effective planning, scheduling and organizational skills
