Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides operational support to Birkeys Parts and Service departments as it relates to warranty information and the warranty process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. Other duties may be assigned from time to time: Assists Warranty Administrator in completing various warranty tasks as it relates to general warranty information, education, and completing the warranty process. Submits warranty claims for repair orders in a timely manner. Advise Service Manager and Parts Manager on proper procedures for obtaining warranty credits on work orders as requested.
Follow procedure for timely return of warranty parts to insure appropriate credit, following up as necessary. Maintain and submit Labor rate change forms when necessary. Occasional travel may be required. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned. Customer Service Responsibilities: Ensure every customer is satisfied with the products, services and support of all staff. Resolve customers concerns efficiently and effectively. Promote a positive attitude at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Exhibit Birkeys high level of customer service on a daily basis. Acknowledge appreciation of clients and customer. Must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest level of customer satisfaction.The individual should have 1 - 2 years of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to get to and around the corporate office and store locations for various tasks. The employee would normally lift or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lifts or moves up to 50 lbs. Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time. Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary. Must meet health assessment requirements.
