Job Description
Integrated with our Distribution Center in the Dallas DFW metroplex (Coppell), the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for achieving high customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, picking and packing, dispatching, and inventory control. He/she ensures daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations, monitors open orders, and ensures accurate daily fulfillment. Deadlines are met and work with internal teams to resolve issues quickly. Work with other stakeholders (Customer, Supply Chain, HR, QHSE, IT…) to ensure objectives and warehouse-related operations are efficient. Control process.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Planning and Co-ordination
  • Ensure a high standard of 5S is maintained in the warehouse
  • Monitor employee attendance and overtime.
  • Establish yourself as an engaging and inclusive leader with ownership of the team’s ability to maximize its productivity, growth, and development.
  • Provide daily work assignments to staff and work with the manager and other supervisors to coordinate personnel and resources to complete all work scheduled on time and within budget.
  • Review of the workload distribution within the warehouse (temp/permanent staff)
  • Ensure all near-miss accidents, incidents, and accidents are reported on time and analyzed to identify risks and take appropriate actions.
  • Analyze client forecasts and historical trends to create fulfillment plans to optimize management, equipment, resources, and staffing.
  • Support the implementation of corrective and preventive measures as discussed with management and customer.
  • Ensure company policies are followed and take appropriate disciplinary actions in cooperation with management and HR in case of an issue.
  • Monitor individual employee performance
  • Comply with safety and TSA regulation
  • Cooperate with the QHSE department in audit preparation and inspection. Take appropriate corrective and preventive measures when needed.
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure enhanced productivity and professional development of team members.

  • Manage a safe workplace by advocating training and accident prevention/preparedness. Foster a “safety first” culture through awareness, training, and accountability.
  • Train current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete the work, including WMS procedures.
  • Effectively plan, staff, direct, and coordinate activities to maintain efficient storage and flow of materials while maintaining inventory control.
  • Ensure company Health and Safety policies are implemented in the warehouse, ensuring safe working conditions in your area of responsibility (ex., use of PPE, safe use of MHE and equipment, stacking & storage…)
  • Develop and maintain an adequate recording system to ensure performance is properly measured
  • Supervises up to 5 Team Leaders
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lead urgently to help ensure operational plans are executed, performance and budget goals are achieved, and teams are kept informed and coordinated across functions.
  • Performance monitoring:
  • Analyze root causes for failures, inventory inaccuracy, and customer claims to determine responsible parties and identify actions to improve performance.
  • Strong inventory control skills and WMS experience.

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • Communicate company standards and policies and take proactive corrective actions in collaboration with management to ensure compliance.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
