CHAMPRO is a growing branded manufacturer & distributor of team sports equipment and apparel. We are privately owned and have been delivering high-value, traditional & innovative athletic equipment and apparel via outstanding, integrity-driven customer service for thirty-five years. We currently have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor in our 325,000 square foot distribution center, located in Bannockburn, Illinois.

Position

The position manages the daily activities of the warehouse to provide the highest customer service by influencing the entire distribution team to do the fast-paced work required to run the distribution center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. The Supervisor provides leadership, motivation, training, and developing of the team while also driving continuous improvement and optimization of operation

Responsibilities

• Cross-training employees in all warehouse operations
• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
• Providing assistance for the Operations and/or Operations Director/Manager on special projects
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Training/Updating teammates on job functions/procedures
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
• Facilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
• Other duties as required
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity
• Preparing and reconciling required production and inventory reports

Requirements

• Stand-up/sit-down forklift experience with certification a must
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectively interact with Champro customers and teammates
• Flexibility to cover any shifts as needed
• Previous SAP/ WMS/ RF or related experience is preferred
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and data entry software
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Prioritization and problem-solving skills essential
• Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
• Previous experience in a Distribution Facility a plus
• Understanding of shipping logistics preferred

Compensation: From $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
