At NRI Industrial Sales, safety is our priority. Our job sites have sanitation stations, and regular cleaning is undertaken to ensure the health of our workers. Employees are required to wear face masks or coverings, in compliance with Ohio State, and physical distancing is practiced in the workplace.

Position Summary

To ensure packages are picked, packaged and shipped in accordance with customer needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Ensure the product to be shipped match quantities, destination, and delivery method.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders to pick inventory for up to 8 hours per day.
• Printing orders that need to be processed for that day's shipping.
• Pack items for safe/damage free shipping to its final destination.
• Proper and safe operation of all equipment needed to perform essential functions of the job: Forklifts, Standing Lifts, Rolling Ladders, Floor and desk scales, Banding equipment.
• Handle customer pickups and returns.
• Put away all QA'd items on racking shelves.
• Utilize handheld scanners for picking inventory items ranging from 1-75 lbs.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse Environment, with some outdoor exposure during workday.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. occasionally.
• Routinely use standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters, hand-held tools, etc.
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.

Position Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Education:

• HS graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• Forklift experience preferred
• 2 years of previous Shipping/Warehouse experience preferred.
