Job Summary

As the Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will play a key role in managing customer samples coming into the facility. You will work with internal team members and our vendor to ensure integrity of the samples and track items in our systems.

Responsibilities

Shipping

• Contacts truck lines, air carriers and small package services when ordering pickups, tracing, etc.
• Accurately prepares Bills of Lading for all LTL shipments and assists staff in determining best methods, rates and routes.
• Ensures all necessary shipping information is supplied by all internal customers.

Receiving

• Inspects all incoming shipments for damage and accuracy and tags all test samples.
• Notifies staff of package receipts
• Maintains a receiving log book for all overnight letters and administrative packages.
• Completes appropriate SAP transactions on all incoming shipments.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office products
• Strong organization
• Experience handling battery products is an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally or in email correspondence
• Experience with ERP systems is an asset
• Prior Shipping/Receiving experience
