Warehouse Shipping Clerk (Ft)

PDQ Staffing is seeking for a motivated individual with previous warehouse shipping experience to perform the duties of a Shipping Clerk. Located in the area of Carrollton, TX for a large distributor warehouse of automotive parts and accessories.

This position is primarily responsible for, though not limited to, following all established procedures and policies for ensuring that material is relived from the appropriate location in the warehouse. Prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency to meet the goals of the company is also required for this position. This shipping clerk position must be computer literate, have a good background in UPS/FedEx software

TEMP-HIRE

Hourly Rate

• $17.00 Weekly Pay.

Work Schedule

• 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with Mandatory OT.

Job Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 60-70lbs. continuously.
• Pass criminal background check; 10 years back.
• Stand up Reach Crown Forklift experience.
• Reliable transportation
• Computer skills needed (data entry using UPS and Fed-ex programs) Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Pass a 5-panel drug test.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide backup for reviewing discrepancies, correcting and entering completed pick tickets, and update the system with completed orders.
• Convert Pick Tickets to Delivery notes.
• Assign pick tickets to warehouse personnel.
• Maintain accurate files and record keeping.
• Scan into Spreadsheet.
• Print shipping labels for each order and affix them to the proper pick ticket.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide administrative support to Warehouse Leadership staff.
• Responsible for processing and packing UPS and FED EX shipments to our customers
• Sort pick tickets based on established routes.
