About the Opportunity: DMI is seeking a VP of Technology Services, reporting to the president of the Private Sector group .
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with HR team to ensure we have a recruitment capability (people and process) which allows to propose candidates for open positions as quickly as possible
- Dealing with client escalations consultant quality
- Accountable for the business performance of that group specifically time to fill
- Build an eco-system of partners who can help provide the resources.
- Interacting with key clients to better understand their staffing demands
- People management of the DMI consultants within the group
- Working with the sales teams to build a view of current and future demand (volumes and skillsets)
- Budget management for the ‘Technology Services’ group
- Bench management, ensuring that bench for consultants is kept to as close to zero as possible
- General Manager for the ‘Technology services’ group, leading a group of over 200 consultants
- Working closely with the MDs in the Consulting Group to ensure sharing of talent between the two groups
- Creating and implementing a strategic plan to meet our clients staffing needs
- Working with HR to oversee the offboarding process for consultants who’ve engagements have ended
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Must have some experience of working with partner agencies to build resource pipelines
- Must have some experience or awareness of application development, commerce and customer experience
- Must be an accomplished manager with a proven track record of managing large teams and significant budgets
- Must have over 15 years experience of working in a IT professional services firm, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
- Must have a deep experience of defining and optimising professional services recruitment process
