About Our Direct-to-Consumer Division

About The Role


Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Co-President of the Direct to Consumer (DTC) division, the role of VP Program Management DTC will lead a high performing team responsible for delivering consumer digital products to market.


You will be part of the consumer leadership team, partnering with the heads of product, design, and engineering to build and deliver consumer experiences, products, and releases to drive outstanding offerings.


This role will be central to driving alignment across the enterprise with sales, marketing, and operations. The role will partner closely with the CPO to shape the products, future of the DTC business, and drive transformational change that distinguish Pearson as a leader in both industry and the business landscape.


The role is hybrid to our offices in Hoboken, NJ,


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Partner with Finance to define budgets and track spending
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering to ensure most valuable features are delivered
  • Lead cross functional alignment with other critical business units and departments including marketing, communications, sales, operations, business development, legal, and research to ensure needs, opportunities, and commitments are aligned and met
  • Provide ad-hoc strategy and support as key enterprise or transformational projects arise
  • Work with co-Presidents of DTC to develop and streamline OKRs across the entire department to identify key trends and operational performance and help ensure success of the consumer division
  • Manage the consumer product roadmap and delivery to ensure flawless and on time execution of new products, features, and releases


About You


Your Core Experience & Education:


  • Track record of business results, managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving operational targets
  • Technically fluent - Demonstrated experience driving change with large scale initiatives in both a start-up and enterprise environments with software or digital experiences
  • Track record of building and coaching high-performing teams
  • BA/BS degree in business administration, operations management, software development, or a related field.
  • 10 plus years of progressive managerial/leadership experience in program or operational roles in both start up and enterprise environments

  • Execution focus – You lead and oversee the implementation and execution of medium to large-scale initiatives through technology deployments, go to market communications and coordination.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:


Minimum full-time salary range is between $190,000 - $250,000.
