This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club, set outside of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Gozzer Ranch is seeking a full-time, year-round Vice President of Operations.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Discovery Land Company is growing, and we are seeking an experienced leader for an opportunity to join the organization as a VP of Operations. Tthe VP of Operations ensures that the property owner/members’ experiences exceed their expectations. This individual will manage all aspects of operations for the club, including its activities and the relationships between its members, guests, employees, management teams, community, and vendors. The General Manager of the club will report into this newly created role.

As the Vice President of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the brand and infusing our community with a vibrant vibe. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service across all areas. Your performance will be measured through key performance indicators (KPIs), which we will define in detail at a later date.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

§ This individual will be committed to delivering excellence in Food and Beverage, Events, Golf Operations, Residential Services, Outdoor Pursuits, and Well-being, ensuring our guests and residents enjoy an unparalleled lifestyle.

§ Infuse company’s unique community spirit into all aspects of operations.

§ Maintain and uphold brand DNA in all services provided.

§ Collaborate with department heads to establish and achieve performance goals via KPI’s.

§ Foster a positive work environment, encouraging career development for all team members.

§ Consistently ensures that the club is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, ordinances and approval requirements.

§ Coordinates with the sales and marketing team to promote the club’s services and facilities to prospective owner/members and current members.

§ Recruiting and hiring of all essential management and staffing.

Skills & Qualifications:

§ Minimum 10+ years leadership in an established high end luxury environment

§ Proven experience in luxury hospitality operations management

§ A strong background in golf operations

§ Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

§ Passion for creating a sense of belonging and a vibrant community atmosphere

§ Entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to drive results; adaptable, problem solver, and strategic thinker

§ Well connected with a strong ability to engage; a high energy personality

§ Strong in performance management and team development
