Job Title: Vice President of Global Wholesale
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wholesale and international distributor businesses, including managing the sales team and setting sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth in existing and new markets.
- Develop and implement a global wholesale and international distributor strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage the budget for the wholesale and international distributor businesses and optimize spending to maximize return on investment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the wholesale business.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing feedback and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of wholesale initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Drive revenue growth through the development of new customer relationships and the expansion of existing ones.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and partners.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin/Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in wholesale sales and operations, in the outdoor apparel and equipment industry, with a focus on global markets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth (over $50m) and expanding customer base in a wholesale business.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex initiatives.
