Vp Of Finance Jobs

Our client, a leading company in the DTC/Ecommerce industry, is seeking a highly qualified Vice President of Finance to join their team. As the VP of Finance, you will assume a critical leadership position, driving financial strategy and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Reporting directly to the President, you will have a significant impact on shaping the company's financial landscape.
Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the company's financial model, leveraging it as a strategic tool to drive growth and optimize financial performance.
• Continuously monitor and assess daily, weekly, and monthly performance across various sales channels and product lines, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller's group to align on budget-to-actual performance and other vital metrics, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with technology partners to champion and execute the company's business intelligence (BI) initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Cultivate a high-performing FP&A team, nurturing their professional development, and promoting a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Provide comprehensive oversight of the FP&A department, empowering the team to conduct thorough financial analysis, generate meaningful insights, and facilitate informed business decision-making.
• Devise and spearhead the company's financial strategy, encompassing annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Create and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational results indicators (ORIs) across the organization, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with other leaders and teams, ensuring financial and strategic alignment across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience within the eCommerce or DTC industry is highly preferred, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique financial dynamics in this sector.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and leading financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills, proven through a track record of driving financial performance and implementing effective financial strategies.
