About The Opportunity


The Vice President, Go to Market & Operations Excellence – Customer & Revenue Operations, will serve as the global leader, setting the strategy, operating model and execution of the GTM organization. In close partnership with the Global Business Operations team, this individual well work to define the territory design principals and alignment of territory to product/bundle offering and will support sales organization transformation activities in pursuit of the go-to-market strategy feel free to reach out to your HRBP for assistance.


What You’ll Get To Do


  • Shape the global market segmentation framework that defines how we go-to-market
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and drive the "follow-through" of those recommendations to ensure smooth execution with a diverse array of cross-functional partners
  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of our business and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify growth opportunities. Develop key insights for executive-level presentations and drive critical business decisions
  • Create the GTM operational planning document that highlights our key sale motions, key segments, priorities, quota menu, and territory density ranges.
  • Update and expand the revenue excellence model and ensure execution and roll-out thereof to the field.
  • Develop optimized organizational structure and design models for GTM execution.
  • Work closely with regional leaders to define sales strategy and direction for the year
  • Establish and execute communication strategy to inform and drive alignment with other Ceridian functions to the annual plan
  • Drive insights generation from key industry and customer trends provide insight to the organization
  • Partner closely with the compensation coe team to ensure we have the right coverage and aligned comp plans in alignment with corporate strategy objectives.
  • Support sales organization transformation activities in pursuit of the go-to-market strategy
  • Drive fiscal planning and execution, including recommending organizational structure, financial goal setting, quota setting, and market segmentation
  • Partner with the CRO & COO to create business strategies and build business cases for potential investments
  • Create the Operations Excellence Model and framework for sales, services and post operations. This will become the guidebook/playbook for the organization that highlights the process, tools and technology used for in the supply chain of selling motion.


What’s In It For You


  • Oversee development of strategic and business cases working with cross-functional teams outlining business opportunity, rationale, and operational plans to grow the region
  • Continuously define and refine the key sales processes that can be consistently operationalized globally and create a clear execution plan that allows the company to exceed business targets and scale
  • Own and drive the development of go-to-market plan for each region; partner with leaders to create business strategies and build business cases for potential investments (e.g., country business plans)
  • Support the Global Leadership in developing key presentations for internal and external audiences, including Board and analyst meetings
  • Provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of Global GTM to execute the charter, achieve key performance indicators while maintaining alignment on the company’s longer-term strategic goals
  • Support the development of strategies for the partners and alliances channels
  • Work with the Global Business Operations team to establish the operational GTM framework ensuring clear guidelines are put in place across territory and quota allocation and management.


Skills And Experience We Value


  • Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfort in business and technical discussions
  • Experience working on large strategic initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis, building business and operational plans, and driving execution through to success; ability to multitask
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
  • Software industry domain expertise, and the ability to understand complex technology problems is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches. Able to see the big picture while also being hands-on and in the details
  • Strong operational and process orientation with a proven track record of process improvement
  • Innovative mindset that demonstrates a high level of imagination and creativity to solve complex organization and process issues
  • Proven experience leading and building global teams
  • Strong business acumen and analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Must have experience working on go-to-market or sales related strategic and operational topics; 10+ years of experience in a senior sales strategy & operations role, or similar. Prior experience with a fast-growth tech company highly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and effectively lead cross-functional teams charged with launching new programs and complex initiatives.
